Giacomo PORCELLI

Giacomo started his career in 1986 and has consolidated experience in all the fields of civil, commercial, banking and bankruptcy litigation and arbitration, including banking, capital markets and insurance law, real estate, insolvency law, contracts law, debt restructuring transactions, acquisitions, corporate finance and trusts.

He has been a partner of NASaW since the firm was founded. From 2012 to 2016 Giacomo was a partner of HNF Avvocati.

Giacomo graduated in Law maxima cum laude with Bari University, and is a member of the Bari Bar and also admitted to the Supreme Court and other Higher Courts. He is also registered with the Register of Chartered Accountants.

Giacomo is Full Professor of civil law with Foggia University, and was scientific coordinator of the University Master “Diritto delle banche, dei mercati finanziari e delle assicurazioni” (Banking, Capital Markets and Insurance Law) and is also a member of the scientific committee of the doctorate in economy law. Giacomo is head of several research projects financed by the University and the CNR – National Research Center, a Professor with the Specialisation School of Civil Law at Camerino University, for the University Master “Diritto delle Banche e dei Mercati Finanziari” (Banking and Capital Markets Law) of Urbino University and the Bari Apulian Notary School “V. Stifano”.

Giacomo is often a speaker at national and international conferences, and is the author of several legal textbooks and articles on family law, civil law and banking and insolvency law.

Giacomo speaks Italian and English.
